Racing ups the sailing experience to the competitive level. It is about optimising the performance of the boat and the crew. It is about learning to exploit the wind, the current, the landscape, the racing rules and other competitors' errors. In the end, it is also about adrenaline and excitement.

Our club has a programme for members interested in yacht racing and regattas. We regularly take part in inshore races in the Netherlands and Belgium (Deltaweekend, Antwerp Race) and competed in the legendary Cowes Week on the Isle of Wight and in offshore races such as the Ostend-Ramsgate regatta and the 400-mile Colin Archer Race from the Netherlands to Norway.

We have built a team of sailors around BlueOne, our Beneteau First 36.7.
In 2022, racing activities started with training sessions in Zeeland, followed by the tough Dover Strait Race Ostend-Ramsgate (offshore) and DeltaWeekend. In Croatia, the CNCE team came 3rd place in the EU Agencies Regatta! The season ended with the classic Antwerp Race in October.

Competitive yacht racing is not a sailing holiday where you drink wine and anchor in pretty bays. It can be strenuous and requires constant concentration from crew. But it is highly rewarding, fun, and a fast-track to learning how to sail!

If you are interested in joining our race crew, check out our race programme (and get your free racing insurance before coming onboard)!
