SHORE BASED TRAININGS IN BRUSSELS (in collaboration with C-MASTERS)
SRC VHF marine radio course and exam (10+ hours, 2-4 participants)
The RYA Marine VHF Radio Short Range Certificate (SRC) is the minimum qualification required to operate marine VHF GMDSS radio equipment on a vessel. This includes both fixed and handheld equipment with and without Digital Selective Calling (DSC).
Programme
Basics of radio operation, frequencies, distress, emergency, and medical assistance procedures, making ship to shore telephone calls, Digital Selective Calling, Global Maritime Distress Safety System.
SRC exams consist of a written theory exam and assessment in the practical use of marine VHF radios.

Duration
10+ hours, incl. a minimum of 3 hours pre-course study at home and 7 hours of classroom study, including final exam.
Location
Overijse (free parking). Exact address will be provided by the sailing school after registration. CNCE is not organising transport or carpooling to/from the location.
Price
€230 per participant (with a discount for CNCE members. Full price of the course is 275 EUR).

Sandwich lunch and coffee/tea is included in the price.
Enrolment, payment and cancellation
The registration is open for CNCE members who have paid their annual member fee for the current season.
Enrolment and payments are managed by the sailing school. Terms and conditions of the booking, payment, cancelations are as specified in the booking form.
Deadline for registration is two weeks before the starting date of the course.
If the minimum number of participants is not reached, the course can be rescheduled to another day or cancelled. In this case, you are eligible for reimbursement.

RYA First Aid course (1 day, 4-6 participants)
In a medical emergency on sea a little first aid knowledge and immediate action can save lives, especially in remote locations.
Programme
The course is covering the most essential First Aid subjects from a yachting perspective. It is aimed at anyone who goes afloat, whether on inland waters, rivers, estuaries or on offshore passages.
