The CNCE regularly offers valk sailing in the Netherlands (organised by Andreas). This activity is intended for club members looking for a day or two of active dinghy sailing at Kamperland (NL) on weekends from spring to autumn. You will sail with up to four people (including an instructor from CNCE) on a valk boat on the Veerse Meer in Zeeland. This stretch of salt water is cut off from the North Sea, and waves are therefore moderate. A local sailing school in Kamperland* will provide the boats. A valk is an open boat with a keel which offers good stability. This, together with its sail area of approx. 16 m², makes it very suitable for training and fun to sail for up to four persons.
