The CNCE regularly offers valk sailing in the Netherlands (organised by Andreas). This activity is intended for club members looking for a day or two of active dinghy sailing at Kamperland (NL) on weekends from spring to autumn. You will sail with up to four people (including an instructor from CNCE) on a valk boat on the Veerse Meer in Zeeland. This stretch of salt water is cut off from the North Sea, and waves are therefore moderate. A local sailing school in Kamperland* will provide the boats. A valk is an open boat with a keel which offers good stability. This, together with its sail area of approx. 16 m2, makes it very suitable for training and fun to sail for up to four persons. It has enough space to carry your bags with spare shoes and clothing, food and drinks.
