The course can be cancelled if the minimum number of participants is not reached. In this case, you will be fully reimbursed.

Food and drinks

  • Breakfast: please note that Marina doesn’t have a shop and there is no breakfast or coffee places nearby. You can bring your own food and drinks or find something in the city centre.
The nearest bakeries “Snauwaert” or “Madies boerenbrood” are around 5min drive with the car. In summer they can get very busy during weekend mornings, so get there timely.
  • Lunch: please bring your lunch and drinks. While marina has a tavern offering warm lunch, its availability is not guaranteed (high demand on sunny days, closure for a private event, limited operating times off-season).
  • Dinner: The tavern can get busy at dinner time and prior booking is often required. You can make a dinner reservation yourselves on www.restogaljoen.be.

Overnight stay

  • The participants who decide to take both trainings on the same weekend will have the option to sleep on the boat (subject to prior arrangement with the sailing school and fee of €5). Please indicate this in your preferences at the time of the booking.
  • Free use of marina facilities (showers, WC). Normally, there should be three access cards on the boat (please check and in case these are not available inform the instructor or request them at the office of the sailing school). After your stay, please leave the cards on the boat (not at the office).
  • The boats are not equipped with beddings. Please bring your own pillows and sleeping bags.
  • The cooking or heating of the water for coffee/tea on the boat is not permitted. The boats are not equipped with plates, cups, or cutlery, so we kindly advise to bring your own. For food and drinks options see section above.
  • Please leave the boat clean.
